As one of the largest optical trade shows in Asia, SIOF 2018 - The 18th China (Shanghai) International Optics Fair was staged during March 5-7, 2018 at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. This is the fifth year for NCMC to attend SIOF, more importantly, a brand new start for us in the optical industry.


This year exhibition area is over 70,000 square meters, with more than 800 exhibitors coming from 22 countries. The trendiest eyewear merchandises, the latest equipment and high technologies were showcased in this exhibition. For NCMC, we have been working in optical industry for several years with products ranging from monomer raw material, lens processing ingredients, moulding & lens cleaning agent to finished optical lens.


One of our key product this year is the anti-fog hard coating liquid. After an early promotion in domestic lens producers, its excellent anti-fog performance has attracted many visitors. Besides, after China successfully won the bid to host 2022 Beijing Wintor Olympic Games, anti-fog hard coating liquid will gain a surprising demand increase in the application of sport goggles, which is also one of our key promotion industry. While our cleaning agent for MR-series stays popular as usual, we also launch a mould cleaning agent for low/high index lens in response to China strict environmental protection policy.


For finished lens, blue cut photochromic lens is introduced as our featured product. Compared to traditional substrate photochromic lens, our spin coating photo lens takes an outstanding advantage either in the film stability or in UV-protection. Our fast photo lens has drawn many overseas visitors to our booth, asking about our high end spin coating technology and looking to possible cooperations.
