Science & Technology Forum Award Ceremony

On November 18, 2020, the award ceremony of Undergraduate Academic Science and Technology Forum leaded by Materials Science and Engineering Institute of Nanjing Tech University was successfully held. Nanjing Chemical Material Corp. (NCMC) attended this event as the sponsor.

At the opening ceremony, Kao Hongtao, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the college, said that the purpose of holding this forum is to strengthen the science and technology cultural atmosphere in the campus, cultivate students' consciousness on scientific and technological innovation and academic research ability, and promote the exchange of academic ideas and achievements. He also expressed gratitude towards NCMC for repeated support to the college and provide material guaranty for the students' innovation and entrepreneurship programs.

Manager Meng of NCMC also encouraged students for innovations and entrepreneurship. She said: “Materials is one of the fastest growing industries in the 21st century, and it is also an industry carrying the future. Many new materials in our modern society are actually the changes, innovations and combinations of various organic and inorganic materials. Without the upgrading of these materials, the cornerstone of our modern society would no longer exist. NCMC has always been aiming at becoming an open platform of developing application technology as the core. We independently explore and introduce the best quality raw materials and the most advanced technical solutions.” She also mentioned: ” As one of the participants and promoters of the progress of this era and society, we hope that we can truly realize the common vision of ‘Chemicals create a better life’ through our efforts. We also hope that through this event, students can constantly improve the awareness of scientific and technological innovation, enhance the ability of scientific and technological innovation, strive for all kinds of scientific and technological innovation achievements, and bravely shoulder the mission of the era together with all of us. ”

Motivated by students' excellent performance, active communication on the subject defense and their hope for the next forum activities, NCMC is determined to continue to work with the school to strengthen the good cooperation and provide students with more support.
