On the afternoon of November 18, 2020, the opening ceremony of the Double Innovation Month and the award ceremony of the Undergraduate Academic Science and Technology Forum of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Nanjing University of Technology, sponsored by Nanjing Xinhua Yuan Chemical Co., Ltd., was successfully held.
At the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, Kao Hongtao, stated that the purpose of holding the Undergraduate Academic Science and Technology Forum is to strengthen the campus science and technology culture atmosphere, cultivate students' awareness of scientific and technological innovation and academic research ability, and promote the exchange of academic ideas and scientific and technological achievements. And I am very grateful to Nanjing Xinhua Yuan Chemical Co., Ltd. for providing the college with such support multiple times, and for providing material support for the development of students' innovation and entrepreneurship projects.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Meng strongly encouraged students to engage in innovation and entrepreneurship. She said that materials is one of the fastest developing industries in the 21st century and also an industry that carries the future era. Many emerging materials in modern society are actually changes, innovations, and combinations of various organic and inorganic materials. Without the innovation and changes of these materials, the cornerstone of our modern society would no longer exist. Xinhua Yuan has always aspired to become an open platform with application technology development as its core. We independently explore and introduce the highest quality product raw materials and the most advanced technological solutions. As one of the participants and promoters of the times and social progress, we also hope that through our efforts, we can truly realize the common vision of "chemicals creating a better life".
