With the new round of economic restructuring and supply-side structural reform, the transformation from old growth drivers to new ones in the medical sector is also speeding up. Domestic enterprises gradually grow up from making raw materials, low-end preparations to high-end preparations, improved new drugs, innovative drugs and other related products. The capability of innovation is further enhanced, the structure of foreign trade continue to be improved, and the quality and benefit of Chinese foreign trade increase steadily. Supported by strong internal dynamics, the export volume of western medicine preparations reached a record high of 4.1 billion USD in 2018, rising by 18.64% year-on-year. It is noteworthy that more and more local enterprises achieve large-scale export of western medicine preparations to standardized markets such as Europe, US and Japan, and the growth momentum is steady. The internationalization process of preparations continue to develop rapidly.

NCMC actively participated in the exhibition by supplying products like inorganic iodide, lithium, special ester, amine, nitrile and other pharmaceutical raw materials.
